As you’re already aware Leona is up for ‘Best New Act’ for Uk and Ireland at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

What you might not already know is that winning this award will make Leona eligible to win the ultimate prize of ‘Europe’s Favourite Artist’.

If Leona wins ‘Best UK Act’ then she’ll be put up for a pan-European vote to choose the top 5 artists from all of the regional winners.

This time Leona once-again proves that her music spans across all genres with two nominations for the Urban Music Awards UK.

Leona follows in the footsteps of UK acts like Goldie, Dizzee Rascal, Beverley Knight, Lemar, Craig David and many more in a ceremony that recognises the achievements of urban-based artists that are a product of the current Underground Dance/R&B, HipHop, Neo Soul, Jazz, Grime, Garage and D&B music scenes.
