Bestowing yet more recognition on one of the landmark singles of the decade; ‘Bleeding Love’ was last night named Song of the Year at the 26th Annual ASCAP Awards in Hollywood.

On hand to collect their award were ‘Bleeding Love’ songwriters Jesse McCartney and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder. Acknowledging Leona’s contribution McCartney said, “Being recognized by ASCAP is a great honor as a songwriter, and I am very grateful for this award. The success of this song would not have been possible without Leona’s stunning vocals and amazing approach.”
